What is Digital Merchandising?

Digital Merchandising Definition

Digital merchandising is the process of using technologies to effectively display and promote products or services online.

Much like traditional merchandising, its goal is to entice customers to engage with a brand and make purchases. However, instead of designing in-store displays or window dressing, digital merchandising focuses on creating online shopping experiences that are both visually appealing and user-friendly. This can include anything from optimizing product photos and descriptions, to developing marketing campaigns that target specific audiences.
